Would like some help deciding between classes :3

Hey there!! Yes, it's me again.... And no I dont just drop my toons. I just figured I'd like to have this little trinity of Magic dps, supp healer and physical dps. That way i can cover the 3 major ways to approach the game (withouth getting into class specifics) and can play the role that i want whenever I want...yeah, gearing will be a nyerk but hey, sometimes i just dont feel like playing just my sorc or I'm tired of watching hp bars as my cleric and would like to kick some butt..

So, like I said, I've already got the first 2 covered. And I've played almost every class in the game till 40ish levels. Now, I'm down to deciding on which physical dps I'd like to stick to.

Thing is I have around 130-200 or so ping, so I've been told that playing assasin is far fetched and could even have issues with playing any weaving physical class.... So I would like to get some feedback on that..

I only pve btw... (ok I've gone to a Gelk sieges once and it was neet so i may try some of that, and I've killed the random Elyos that tried killing me or my team but that's about it..)

If it happens that i need like 20-60 ms for me to play as a sin effectively I can live withouth playing him I guess. My other options are Glad, Templar and Ranger. I'll least my pros and cons for each one and would like to hear opinions.

Assasin:

Like the stealth option and being able to burst down a target with high crit and high evasion. I like that it's pretty much the highest physical damage class.

Huge downtimes if oponents are of high enough level, too RNG as to hope for crits and evasions to proc as to kill the target before you die horribly. Reeally squishy...Can only single target and would be hard pressed if it's agroup of mobs of 2-3.

Templar:

I dont mind tanking and since i love instances it'd be a way to be welcome as if a cleric for every group.

I feel like I don't deal enough dps as to solo play, killing mobs by my own and questing. Also, I find the gameplay odd... Like switching between GS to SS just to tank big hits but try to keep up dps with GS, I feel like it makes the whole point of having so many SS only skills useless besides the one to protect you from those big hits.

Gladiator:

Similar to Temp, I don't mind tanking and a Glad can be a decent tanker with enough dps as to hold aggro. Love the Weapon designs for Polearms and that it's the main AOE melee class and the skill animations are quite cool. I've never actually played it properly and was just curious of the first 20 levels but would definitely like to level further.

I don't know how much actual dps they can muster in comparison to other melee classes and if I off tank, I'm not sure how much of a decent one I could make since with SS I'd deal less damage and would have issues holding aggro even with weaving that one Taunt that we get.

Ranger:

I like that it's range physical damage and that's unique like that, and that has a Stumble chance unlike since which seems OP with enough crit stacked and proper weaving.

I don't know how much actual damage they can deal and seem like a less effective leather class when compared to Sin dps. I consider it more of a PVP class than a PVE one due to the amount of disables, slows and such.

.........And there's no chanter 'cause I already have a healer class and although mantras look cool and are good buffs I'm also not sure about the solo leveling game.

So there you have it, those are my opinions on the classes I would or could pick. Please do tell me if I'm right or not and why.

Your opinions are appreciated, thanks a lot for reading :)

Fire Gleeful Ladder replied to xform and flight time

Greetings, Daeva, We understand your frustration and appreciate you reaching out to the community for help. Not receiving a verification email is a common issue that many players have encountered across various games. We’ve checked the forums and have a few potential fixes you can try. Hopefully, one of these will help you get into the game!

Possible Fixes for Verification Email Issue

Check Your Email Folders: This may seem obvious, but it's the most common solution. Please check your spam, junk, and other filtered folders. Sometimes, a legitimate email can be mistakenly flagged and sent there. Add Aion to Your Whitelist: To prevent future emails from being blocked, add the official Aion email address (often something like `noreply@aiononline.com` or an equivalent from NCSoft/Gameforge) to your email account's contact list or whitelist. This tells your email provider that you trust the sender. Try a Different Email Provider: Some email providers, particularly those like Hotmail, Outlook, or Live, are known to be overly aggressive with their spam filters. If you used one of these, consider creating a new account with a different provider, such as Gmail, and try the registration process again. Many players report better success with services like Gmail. Wait for the Email: Depending on server load and other factors, there can sometimes be a significant delay in receiving the verification email. In some cases, it may take several hours or even a full day to arrive. If you've just created your account, we recommend waiting a while longer before assuming it's a bug. Contact Aion Support Directly: If none of the above steps work, the best course of action is to contact the official Aion support team. They have the tools to manually verify your account or provide a direct solution. You can typically find a link to their support portal on the official game website. They will likely ask for your account name and the email address you used. We hope this information helps, and we look forward to seeing you in Atreia soon! Feel free to update us if you find a solution that works for you, as it may help other players with the same problem. Best regards, The Forum Moderator Team
