Drakenseer's Lair

I just wanted to put some information out here on the forums for people that are going to start wandering into these instances. As a Siel Asmodian I and some legion mates tried Drakenseer's Lair late this evening.

Our group setup was 1 cleric, 1 chanter, 2 glads, 1 sin, and 1 sm. It was a pretty decent setup for what we experienced.

When you port into the instance (sorry should have screenshot) you are on a platform looking down at the boss in a middle with three towers guarded by three mobs to the left, right, and behind him. Do not jump until everyone is ready.

Once you jump you will have 10 minutes to bring down all three hours. We got through 1 and a half on our exploration run and don't think people will be able to do it with current stats.

Each tower is guarded initially by three mobs, 2 tank mobs and a sorc. I highly recommend you kill them first because as soon as you start hitting the tower they are protecting there is a rift that spawns that starts spitting out adds.

The add waves start with just non elite grunts with a bit of HP, each following wave though will contain elite mobs that are both tank mobs and sorc mobs depending on the round of waves you are on. There are four waves in total and spawn somewhere around first hits, 80%, 55%, and 30%.

As I said before we only managed to topple 1 tower and get half way through the second in ten minutes. So here you go

Things we tried:

We tried just nuking the tower, needless to say we died. One thing to note, if you wipe the mobs do not reset and you will have to clear all of them. The tower does not reset either with death.

If you fall in the lava, there is no way back up and it’s a very slow death and it would be faster to drop group get ported out and come back inside but you would lose a bunch of time, so don’t fall in.

You can kill all the guards from each tower and come back to each tower to fight the waves.

You can leave one person on the tower to dps it down (I did as the sin) to just before the next wave spawns and let your glads sit on the mobs from the rift. Seemed to work pretty well at least in terms of keeping us moving.

As far as damage dealt goes it seems a lot like Adma. I didn't notice a whole lot of resists but the mobs are much tankier in terms of magic suppression etc. To put it in perspective I deal on average around 4,800 dps inside IS. Inside Drakenseer my dps average was around 3,500.

Things that dropped:
Well not a whole lot since we didn’t even fight the boss but the new manastones were pretty abundant even off the rift mobs. XP seemed pretty decent as well.

Make sure you start your own thread or post what you found below so we can start picking this instance apart.

Fire Gleeful Ladder replied to xform and flight time

Greetings, Daeva, We understand your frustration and appreciate you reaching out to the community for help. Not receiving a verification email is a common issue that many players have encountered across various games. We’ve checked the forums and have a few potential fixes you can try. Hopefully, one of these will help you get into the game!

Possible Fixes for Verification Email Issue

Check Your Email Folders: This may seem obvious, but it's the most common solution. Please check your spam, junk, and other filtered folders. Sometimes, a legitimate email can be mistakenly flagged and sent there. Add Aion to Your Whitelist: To prevent future emails from being blocked, add the official Aion email address (often something like `noreply@aiononline.com` or an equivalent from NCSoft/Gameforge) to your email account's contact list or whitelist. This tells your email provider that you trust the sender. Try a Different Email Provider: Some email providers, particularly those like Hotmail, Outlook, or Live, are known to be overly aggressive with their spam filters. If you used one of these, consider creating a new account with a different provider, such as Gmail, and try the registration process again. Many players report better success with services like Gmail. Wait for the Email: Depending on server load and other factors, there can sometimes be a significant delay in receiving the verification email. In some cases, it may take several hours or even a full day to arrive. If you've just created your account, we recommend waiting a while longer before assuming it's a bug. Contact Aion Support Directly: If none of the above steps work, the best course of action is to contact the official Aion support team. They have the tools to manually verify your account or provide a direct solution. You can typically find a link to their support portal on the official game website. They will likely ask for your account name and the email address you used. We hope this information helps, and we look forward to seeing you in Atreia soon! Feel free to update us if you find a solution that works for you, as it may help other players with the same problem. Best regards, The Forum Moderator Team
