Help - templar or ranger?

Hello everyone,

Let me just start off by saying, I’ve only started to play this game about a month ago. I have no abyss equips or any notable gears. I’ve been using gears/weapons that were given to me through quests and through pink event quests.
I have a level 40 Ranger, level 37 Chanter, and level 33 Cleric. I enjoy the cleric but I don’t like the central role of being the designated healer in the group. As for PvP, I don’t have much experience to talk about. As for the Chanter, I enjoyed that too but then I hit a wall where I realized it just felt weak and DPS wasn’t that good. I loved the aspect of being able to heal and somewhat burst dps though. PvP, I’ve dueled a few people around my level and fairly did okay until I’ve dueled a ranger with AB 30e. I got rocked… Then that’s when I rerolled and made a ranger. Got that the level 40, and I love every aspect of it. Their defense might be low but their kit seems to compensate for it. I wonder how their low defense impacts you at max level and start to really PvP?
Then I’ve started to wonder about warriors. I’ve wanted to try something different. So I did some research and I’ve made a templar. It is only level 12. (I think templar was a better choice over glad.. just my opinion – sorry to offend the glads out there ahah) I wonder if I should consider to main the templar?
So the point of this thread is to advise me and to guide me through how both are in higher levels. I’ve read a lot of forums and postings about them and how they’re both geared to the teeth. But in all honesty, I don’t think I will be able to gear any toon to the point where I would like… unfortunately.. So as for a noob like me with no gear and no AB points for PvP gears, what is a good character to main? I would eventually want to stick with it and get gear. From the beginning to the end, which of the two (ranger or templar) would you recommend for my current situation? If you like, please do comment on my other characters, my chanter and cleric. I also have a level 20 Sorc, which I’ve quit because I hate their casting time.. lol

THANK YOU!! <3

Fire Gleeful Ladder replied to xform and flight time

Greetings, Daeva, We understand your frustration and appreciate you reaching out to the community for help. Not receiving a verification email is a common issue that many players have encountered across various games. We’ve checked the forums and have a few potential fixes you can try. Hopefully, one of these will help you get into the game!

Possible Fixes for Verification Email Issue

Check Your Email Folders: This may seem obvious, but it's the most common solution. Please check your spam, junk, and other filtered folders. Sometimes, a legitimate email can be mistakenly flagged and sent there. Add Aion to Your Whitelist: To prevent future emails from being blocked, add the official Aion email address (often something like `noreply@aiononline.com` or an equivalent from NCSoft/Gameforge) to your email account's contact list or whitelist. This tells your email provider that you trust the sender. Try a Different Email Provider: Some email providers, particularly those like Hotmail, Outlook, or Live, are known to be overly aggressive with their spam filters. If you used one of these, consider creating a new account with a different provider, such as Gmail, and try the registration process again. Many players report better success with services like Gmail. Wait for the Email: Depending on server load and other factors, there can sometimes be a significant delay in receiving the verification email. In some cases, it may take several hours or even a full day to arrive. If you've just created your account, we recommend waiting a while longer before assuming it's a bug. Contact Aion Support Directly: If none of the above steps work, the best course of action is to contact the official Aion support team. They have the tools to manually verify your account or provide a direct solution. You can typically find a link to their support portal on the official game website. They will likely ask for your account name and the email address you used. We hope this information helps, and we look forward to seeing you in Atreia soon! Feel free to update us if you find a solution that works for you, as it may help other players with the same problem. Best regards, The Forum Moderator Team
